What is done?

Each experience is designed to reconnect with nature and make new friends. Here's what we'll do in this one:

⛰️ Excursion
With this beautiful trek, a real hiking raid, in 3 days we will touch 3 Refuges of the Friulian Dolomites Park, crossing at high altitude the beautiful and wild valleys of the Pramaggiore, Monfalconi, Spalti di Toro and Cridola groups. We will walk on challenging paths surrounded by the wild beauty of the Dolomites, meeting few other hikers during the days. During the trek you will see breathtaking landscapes, meet new people and discover the history of these wild places.
⛺️ Refuge Experiences
Along the way we will discover the Rifugio Pordenone, Padova and Giaf, every evening we will find a refuge like those of the past to welcome us: no spa or double rooms, but lots of kindness, warmth and good food, what you need to rest after a day of walking.
🎒 Discover Nature
Discovering the local flora and fauna, we will share a trekking experience in a wild and UNESCO heritage environment. We will meet the Refugees of the area and their passion for these mountains.

Day 1

+ 1050m | - 1000m | 5h | 7km

The first day of our exciting journey will take us from the Rifugio Pordenone through the suggestive Forcella Montanaia. We will have the opportunity to admire the majestic Campanile di Val Montanaia, with the red Perugini bivouac at its feet, which appears like a flower at the foot of the large rock.

Our destination will be the Rifugio Padova, where we will find a large meadow and the peace that few places can leave, with the sunset and a good dinner, we will be able to rest for the next day!

Day 2

+ 750m | - 700m | 3h45 | 6.3km

The second day will take us through a fascinating rocky amphitheater, where the red metal structure of the Marchi-Granzotto bivouac stands alone. The route, although challenging, will give us unique emotions. We will make an extraordinary crossing of two high forks: Forcella del Cason and Forcella Monfalcon of Forni.

The evening will be dedicated to chatting around the bonfire in the company of refugee managers Alessandro and Marco, creating a convivial and relaxing atmosphere.

Day 3

+ 820m | - 1030m | 5h | 9.4km

On the last day, after a good breakfast, we will venture through woods and meadows towards the imposing peaks of the Cime Urtisiel. We will cross the suggestive Troi dai Sclops, immersing ourselves in breathtaking views until we reach the Rifugio Pordenone, here in the company of Marika and Ivan, we will be able to drink a beer to celebrate the completed ring!

This trek is challenging, with significant elevation changes and difficult trails that include exposed and steep passages. It is suitable for experienced and well-trained hikers who do not suffer from vertigo and are ready to face demanding challenges.
