We’re Matteo, David, and Nicolò. Three friends with different paths, but one shared love for the mountains.
In 2020, we found ourselves in Val Cimoliana. We were surrounded by raw beauty, silence, and solitude. But we also saw what’s often overlooked—abandonment, depopulation, and missed opportunities.
That day, something shifted. We realized that admiring nature wasn’t enough. We needed to give back.
That’s how Dolomist was born.
Not just a company—but a way of saying thank you. A way of caring for something that’s always taken care of us.
We started with what we knew: digital tools.
We built a platform to connect people to the mountains—deeply, respectfully, sustainably.
Not through mass tourism. Not through filters or spectacle. But through real experiences, guided by those who live the land every day.
Dolomist doesn’t just belong to us.
It belongs to you.
To the hikers who joined us on the trail.
To the guides who opened up their world.
To the friends who turned into partners.
To the ones who believed a different model was possible.
What began as a small group of friends has grown into a community.
One grounded in trust, shared values, and the desire to build something that lasts.
Over time, we’ve learned that sustainability means more than respecting nature.
It also means making sure guides and hut keepers can earn a living without having to sell out.
It means designing experiences that honor tradition—without commodifying it.
It means caring for people, not just landscapes.
We’ve made mistakes.
We’ve taken wrong turns.
We’ve hit rough patches.
But the mountains have taught us that hardship, like elevation gain, is part of the journey—and that good company makes all the difference.
Today, we want to say something simple but important: thank you.

To those who’ve supported, challenged, and trusted us.
To those who’ve joined our experiences, partnered with us, or helped shape this project—technically, creatively, institutionally.
Dolomist is still growing.
