What is done?
Each experience is designed to reconnect with nature and make new friends. Here's what we'll do in this one:
-
4 days trekking in the Dolomites: self-guided experience
For four days we will walk along Dolomite trails immersed in the most authentic nature, independently following the tracks of a well-studied itinerary. We will walk through open pastures, silent woods and spectacular crests, with the freedom to stop where our heart asks us to. Each step will lead us to discover the beauty of small details: a rare flower, the sound of a stream, the echo of an ancient story that resonates among the rocks.
-
3 nights in the Dolomites: discover the local mountain huts and refuges
During the trek, we will find hospitality in refuges and mountain huts that tell the true story of mountain life. They will welcome us with hot dishes and local flavors, simple rooms and views that open onto infinity. Every evening, after the day's hard work, we will share stories in front of a lit fireplace or under a sky dotted with stars. The nights at high altitude will give us deep silences and unforgettable sunrises: a return to the essential that will make us feel truly part of these mountains.
-
MADE Trek: Malga and Alm Desired Experience – from Rifugio Tolazzi to Malga Pramosio
We will embark on a journey that unites two symbolic places of the Friulian Dolomites: the Rifugio Tolazzi and Malga Pramosio. Along the way we will cross hidden valleys, old pastoral paths and high-altitude pastures where the mountain shows itself in its purest form. We will live the authentic experience of the mountain huts, among dairymen, grazing animals and the scents of alpine herbs. A trek that combines movement, memory and flavours, to rediscover the profound connection between man and landscape, walking slowly and with wonder.

Day 1
From Rifugio Tolazzi to Malga Lavareit: between pastures and high-altitude memories
We will arrive at the Rifugio Tolazzi with our own means, ready to start our adventure in the Carnic Dolomites. We will begin the climb along the road that leads to the Forcella Morareet, choosing whether to follow the hairpin bends or cut them with the CAI 143 path. Once we reach the Rifugio Marinelli, we will take a moment to admire the view, then we will descend from the other side along the CAI 148, passing by the Casera Plotta.
At a crossroads we will take the CAI 175 on the right, which will lead us to Casera Collina Grande (1,522 m). From here, the path will take us through silence and woods in the suggestive Val Chiaula, crossing the stream and touching the ruins of the lower and upper Chiaula huts. We will climb a little further until we come across a track that, between pastures and dirt roads, will lead us to the Agriturismo Malga Lavareit (1,470 m), where the authentic warmth of the mountain will welcome us.
Day 2
From Lavareit to Pramosio: the valley, the meadows and the vertical forest
After breakfast, we will follow the dirt road that will bring us back on the road. We will cross the CAI 155 path and turn left. We will cross the Faas shoulder, a plateau dotted with huts and chalets, and from there we will take a steeper stretch that will take us down, into the heart of the forest, to the village of Timau (820 m).
In the town center we will go up the CAI 402, a path that climbs decisively through a thick fir forest, until it emerges at the pastures of Malga Pramosio (1,521 m), where we will stop for the night. It will be a day of contrasts: from the sweetness of the meadows to the strength of the climbs, passing through woods full of ancient stories.
Day 3
Towards the Fabiani Refuge: Military Paths and Hidden Horizons
We will leave Malga Pramosio and climb along the former military road of the Guardia di Finanza. We will cross the slope with hairpin bends and reach the panoramic Sella Cercevesa (1,872 m), from where the CAI 448A path will open up a view of the southern slopes of Monte Scarniz and Cuestalta.
We will continue crossing between rocks, pines and suspended pastures, until we join the CAI 448 near Creta Rossa. From here we will begin the descent towards the Fabiani Refuge (1,539 m), a pearl nestled between the mountains, perfect for ending the day with a hot dish and the sound of the wind in the larches.
Day 4
The Celtic Trail and the Return Through Forgotten Places
We will continue downhill, touching clearings and wetlands, before crossing a thick forest that will lead us to the forest track towards Malga Lodin (1,680 m). After passing the malga, we will turn east along the CAI 457 path, and shortly after we will abandon the main track to follow the suggestive Sentiero dei Celti (CAI 448B).
We will climb up to the ridge, then we will descend along the crest to Casera Meledis Alta, reaching the dirt/cemented road. After crossing a stream, we will climb up to Casera Valbertat Alta, and from there, keeping to the left, we will finally reach Agriturismo Al Cippo.
Our Trek MADE will end here, and a private transfer will take us back to the starting point at the Rifugio Tolazzi. Alternatively, we can organize the transfer on the first day, leaving the car at the Agriturismo, to make the return more comfortable.
