What do we do?

Each experience is designed to reconnect with nature and make new friends. Here's what we'll do in this one:

  • 3-day guided trekking in the Lagorai

With Cristian, a mountain guide, we'll spend three days immersed in the granite soul of the Lagorai, a silent and authentic mountain where time seems to slow down. We'll climb from Malga Sorgazza toward Cima d'Asta Lake, nestled at the foot of imposing rock faces, then traverse the "granite cathedral" of the southern Lagorai, amidst breezy passes, alpine lakes, and secluded valleys. We'll walk to the rhythm of nature, letting the wind, streams, and vast landscape guide us through an intense, profound, and rejuvenating experience.

  • 2 nights at high altitude with half board

We'll sleep in two iconic Lagorai refuges: the Brentari, overlooking Lake Cima d'Asta, and the Caldenave, nestled in a green valley punctuated by crystal-clear streams. Every evening, we'll be greeted by warm dishes, wood scented with the scent of the mountains, and a night sky so clear it seems unreal. We'll share convivial meals, stories of the day, and the silence of the first light of dawn, when dawn colors the granite and prepares us for a new day of walking.

  • Masterclass: Discover the region and promote the local mountain community

During the trek, we'll learn to read the Lagorai with attentive and curious eyes: from the geology that shapes these granite mountains, to the high-altitude flora that grows among the rocks, to the subtle signs of the fauna. We'll delve into the history of the mountain pastures, the value of grazing, and the commitment of the communities who so dedicatedly protect these lands. Through observations, stories, and moments of listening to nature, we'll develop a deeper understanding of the land and its inhabitants, rediscovering an authentic and respectful connection with the mountains.

Day 1

From Malga Sorgazza to the Cima d'Asta Refuge (Brentari)

+ 1050m | - 20m | 3h30 | 5km

We'll begin our adventure at Malga Sorgazza, immediately entering the granite heart of the Lagorai. The trail will steadily gain altitude, while the forest gives way to open valleys and profound silence. Step by step, we'll see the magnificent Cima d'Asta Lake appear, nestled beneath the imposing mountain walls.

From here, we'll reach the Brentari Refuge in just a few minutes, overlooking the valley with one of the most breathtaking views in Trentino. It will be a short but intense first stage, perfect for acclimatizing, enjoying the sunset, and calmly preparing for the next day's excitement.

Day 2

From the Cima d'Asta Refuge to the Caldenave Refuge

+ 400m | - 1100m | 7.30 am | 10km

After breakfast, we'll resume our journey into the wild heart of the Lagorai. From the refuge, we can choose to climb to Cima d'Asta (2,847 m), one of the most spectacular panoramic peaks in Trentino, offering sweeping views of the Dolomites, Lagorai, and the border Alps.

Returning to the main trail, we'll enter the great "granite cathedral" of the southern Lagorai: a pure landscape, shaped by glaciers and time. The long descent will take us to the wide Caldenave basin, an amphitheater of bright meadows and crystal-clear streams, home to the eponymous refuge.

Here we will experience an authentic evening, immersed in the quiet and unspoiled nature.
(If we choose to climb to Cima d'Asta, the day will be extended by about 1 hour and +300 m of altitude difference.)

Day 3

From the Caldenave Refuge to Lago Costa Brunella and Malga Sorgazza

+ 400m | - 750m | 4h30 | 10km

The final stage will take us through a succession of increasingly open and panoramic views. We'll gently climb to the Forcella Quarazza pass (2,300 m), a natural balcony from which we'll admire the Val Malene and the imposing bulk of Cima d'Asta, conquered in the previous days.

We'll then begin the descent toward the enchanting Lake Costa Brunella, a small Alpine gem with clear waters and emerald reflections. Continuing through woods and clearings, we'll once again reach Malga Sorgazza, where we'll conclude our journey through the most authentic heart of eastern Trentino.

Meet the Team ✌🏼

Hi, I'm Cristian, born and raised in Trento, with the Dolomites as my "backyard."

The mountains are the common thread in my life: I started climbing at age 8 and haven't stopped since. Today, I'm a mountain guide and climbing instructor, with a degree in Sports Science.

In the Dolomites, my goal is simple: to give you a unique experience, to make you feel at ease on the trail or on the rocks, and to share those moments that only the mountains can offer.
