A challenging hike through the Friulian Dolomites, through snow-covered forests, panoramic passes and pristine valleys. The trail, which takes its name from the Cerulean Gentian (Gentiana Froelichii), offers a unique experience for expert hikers, with climbs on snow-covered scree and suggestive stretches between the peaks. The winter landscape transforms the route into a journey through profound silence and fairy-tale scenery, offering one of the wildest and most authentic experiences in the area.

🏔 Curiosities of the place

You will immediately immerse yourself in the quiet of the forest until you reach Casera Valbinon, an ideal place for a restorative break and a moment of shelter in nature. Finally, at 1,945 meters above sea level, the Campomuros prairie will welcome you with its spectacle: an immense green expanse that envelops the landscape in an atmosphere of absolute peace, making every step an experience of pure wonder. The last part of the route is towards Forcella Urtisiel, from which a breathtaking view opens up of the Friulian Dolomites and the majestic Monfalconi Group. From here you will return to the Rifugio Giaf to relax in this unique refuge.
