Day 1

Meran

You will arrive in Merano and settle into your hotel. This city, the beating heart of Tyrolean traditions, will welcome you with the charm of its festivals, medieval castles and elegant church architecture. Strolling through its lush gardens, you will breathe in the beauty of a place that opens the first chapter of your journey.

Day 2

Madriccio Pass

+ 560m | - 880m | 4h30 | 9km

You will begin your adventure with a private transfer from Merano to Solda, then take the cable car up to the Rifugio Città di Milano (2581 m). From here, the path winds through a series of hairpin bends until reaching, after about an hour, a refuge with a panoramic terrace (2820 m): the perfect spot for a first stop, with the Vedretta del Madriccio as your silent travel companion. Continuing, the path will take you to the Passo del Madriccio (3123 m), the gateway between the Val di Solda and the wild Val Martello. Here, before you, a panorama will open up that encompasses in a single glance the peaks of the Ortles (3905 m), Monte Zebrù (3735 m) and Gran Zebrù (3851 m). Descending from the pass, you will cross a valley framed by streams and landscapes that slowly change, alternating grassy expanses with stony ground. Your overnight shelter awaits you near a rushing waterfall, the final wonder of an unforgettable day.

From Passo del Madriccio you can take a short detour to Punta Beltovo di Dentro (3325 m), the highest point of your itinerary.

Day 3

Saent Pass

+ 870m | - 690m | 5h000 | 9km

You will cross the bridge over the Plimabach stream and walk through silent woods to the meadows of Paradiso al Cevedale. From here, you will begin the steep climb to the Saent Pass (2965 m), crossing a stony basin dotted with Alpine lakes. If you are lucky, you might hear the whistle of the marmots, vigilant guardians of these places. Once over the pass, the landscape will change: red rocks will mark the border between Trentino and Alto Adige, while descending the first patches of vegetation will welcome you. The blueberry bushes will give way to the streams of Val Saent, which will gently guide you to the refuge where you will spend the night.

Day 4

Saent Falls

+ 130m | - 1370m | 5h0'0 | 11.5 km

Today the trail will descend through flowering meadows and lively colonies of marmots, until reaching the Pra de Saent plain. From here, through larch woods, you will descend between bridges and water features to the spectacular Saent waterfalls, the most impressive in Val di Sole. In the afternoon, with a private transfer, you will reach the Grosté cable car, which will take you to the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. Here, the rocky spires will light up pink at sunset, giving you a preview of the magic that awaits you.

Day 5

Mouth of Brenta

+ 610m | - 1220m | 5h30 | 12km

You will cross the heart of the Brenta, stopping at the Rifugio Brentei (2182 m), once managed by the legendary Bruno Detassis. Here, you can admire the Crozzon di Brenta and the peaks of the Adamello. The climb to the Bocca di Brenta (2552 m) will develop between scree and equipped sections, giving you a breathtaking view. Descending, the green of the larch forests will contrast with the blinding white of the Dolomite rocks. After a long crossing, you will arrive at the refuge where you can rest after an intense day.

Day 6

Lake Molveno

+ 220m | - 510m | 3h00 | 5.5 km

After days among peaks and scree, today the route becomes softer. You will descend through forests of larch and fir trees, up to the Altopiano di Pradel, a panoramic terrace overlooking Lake Molveno. From here, a short ride in the cable car will take you to the lake, where you can relax and enjoy the village.

Day 7

Lake Toblino

+ 250m | - 800m | 4h00 | 12km

With a short transfer you will reach Nembia, to walk a stretch of the Cammino di San Vili. You will pass through villages immersed in vineyards and terraces until you reach Castel Toblino, overlooking the lake of the same name. Here, between centuries-old walls and calm waters, you will conclude your journey before reaching Arco, the capital of the outdoors, where you can rest before returning.
