What is done?

Each experience is designed to reconnect with nature and make new friends. Here's what we'll do in this one:

  • ⛰️ Excursion to Mondeval

If you are passionate about trekking, nights outdoors and photography you can't miss these two days! We will combine a beautiful trek and a crazy and little-frequented peak, with a night under the stars, a grandiose sunset and lots of photos!

  • 📸 Photography workshop

Mondeval is famous among photographers, for its easy access and the many possibilities it offers to take home many beautiful shots. In the evening we will have a real photography workshop, we will learn all the tricks and secrets for photographing the Milky Way, the sunset and the sunrise.

  • 🎒 Masterclass discovering Nature

Elisa will guide us to discover the local flora and fauna, also sharing with us some strategies for making the most of a tent trekking experience.

Day 1

+ 1100m | - 500m | 6h | 11km

On the first day we meet at the Ru Curto Bridge at 10am, where we will prepare for departure with a quick check of the backpacks and the delivery of the tents. From here we will climb to the top of the Lastoi di Formin, an isolated and majestic panoramic point. Although looking at this peak from Passo Giau it seems inaccessible, the path is easy and presents no difficulties (apart from the difference in altitude!). On the other hand, the summit offers grandiose views, and dizzying walls open up beneath our feet! Then we will descend to the famous Lago delle Baste, where we will wait to see the Pelmo on fire from the sunset which is reflected in the waters of the lake. Finally the time has come to shoot the subject that all photographers love and fear: the Milky Way! But don't worry, I will teach you all the tricks to succeed!

Day 2

+ 400m | - 1000m | 5h | 14km

The next day a spectacular sunrise awaits us, and finally the descent to return to the cars passing through the beautiful Croda da Lago lake. Since a photography course is not complete if we don't talk a little about post production, before going at home we will go and eat an ice cream together, in Cortina or Selva di Cadore, and I will show you the basics for editing night photos.
