What is done?
Each experience is designed to reconnect with nature and make new friends. Here's what we'll do in this one:
-
Guided Trekking
We will walk for five days along wild paths that connect the suspended valleys of the Pramaggiore, Monfalconi, Spalti di Toro and Cridola groups. With Elisa, we will cross airy forks, silent screes and flows of mountain pines, admiring dolomite walls that are tinged with pink at dawn. We will meet a few other wayfarers, enjoying a regenerating solitude, and we will let every step tell the story of these rugged and pristine mountains. Between sweat, laughter and dizzying views, we will forge authentic bonds with the group and with nature.
-
4 nights in a refuge with half board
Every evening we will find refuge in the simple warmth of Giaf, Padova, Pordenone and Pacherini. Wooden rooms filled with stove smoke, steaming polenta and sincere smiles will welcome us. We will toast with Friulian wine, listen to the crackling of the fireplace and look at the starry sky from the balcony, while the scent of the forest will enter through the half-open windows. We will sleep in bunk beds, waking up to the song of the tits and a hearty breakfast that will give energy to the legs for the next stage.
-
Masterclass discovering Nature
During the stops, Elisa will guide us to recognize edelweiss blooming among the rocks, lichens that color the dolomite, chamois tracks on the gravel tongues and the low flight of the golden eagle. We will learn to read the weather, calibrate the backpack, find water and leave a minimal impact on the environment. Through sensory exercises, we will listen to the wind in the larches and the gurgling of the streams, nourishing a deep awareness that will make every future adventure safer and more respectful.
Discover the program.
Day 1
+ 400m | - 0m | 1h30 | 2km
We will meet in the parking lot at the foot of the Friulian Dolomites, we will arrange our backpacks together and outline the last details of the trek. Then we will take the path that, among fir woods and rocky views, will lead us to the Giaf Refuge. At sunset we will gather around the bonfire with Alessandro and Marco, the refuge keepers: we will toast, tell mountain stories and let ourselves be pampered by the scent of the lit larches.
Day 2
+ 600m | - 700m | 4h30 | 6km
We will start our great adventure with a stage with a relaxed pace, perfect for warming up the muscles and starting to get to know each other step by step. We will climb calmly along a path with a gentle difference in altitude, leaving the everyday world behind us.
We will reach the panoramic Forcella Scodavacca, where we will take a moment to breathe deeply and look into the distance. From there we will begin the descent, immersed in a thick silent forest, which will accompany us to the Rifugio Padova, our first landing point, where a hot dinner, new friends and the excitement of the beginning will await us.
Day 3
+ 1000m | - 1100m | 6-7h | 7 km
We will climb at a steady pace to Forcella Montanaia, where the famous Campanile di Val Montanaia – the “stone cry” of the Friulian Dolomites – will welcome us in all its splendor. From above we will see the small Bivacco Perugini, red like a flower at the foot of the tower. After a few photos and a sigh of wonder, we will descend towards Rifugio Pordenone, ready to share the emotion of this alpine icon.
Day 4
+ 1100m | - 800m | 6-7h | 11km
We will set off again through clearings and mountain pines towards the scree slopes at the foot of Mount Pramaggiore. We will cross four closely spaced passes, a succession of ups and downs that will give us magnificent views of Alpine peaks and meadows. Once we reach the Passo di Suola, we will descend into the valley of the same name to the Rifugio Flaiban‑Pacherini. It will be the last night together: we will celebrate the friendship and strength of the group with a dinner of Friulian flavors and a toast under the stars.
Day 5
+ 1000m | - 1000m | 6-7h | 10km
We will immediately tackle the steep climb to the Forcella dell'Inferno: despite its name, we will discover an enchanted place. From here we will take the legendary Troi da Sclops, the path of the gentians, which winds between majestic walls, rocky balconies and flowery valleys. After the last pass, we will return to the Rifugio Giaf. We will celebrate the end of our adventure with a choral toast, taking home the heartbeat of the Friulian Dolomites in our hearts.
