What is done?

Each experience is designed to reconnect with nature and make new friends. Here's what we'll do in this one:

  • ⛰️ Excursion

    With this beautiful trek, a real hiking raid, in 4 days we will visit the 4 refuges of the Friulian Dolomites Park, crossing the beautiful and wild valleys of the Pramaggiore, Monfalconi, Spalti di Toro and Cridola groups at high altitude. We will walk on challenging trails surrounded by the wild beauty of the Dolomites, meeting few other hikers during the days. During the trek you will see breathtaking landscapes, meet new people and discover the history of these wild places thanks to Elisa, Explorer Dolomist.

  • ⛺️ Refuge Experiences

    Along the way we will discover the Pordenone, Pacherini, Giaf and Padua refuges, every evening to welcome us we will find a refuge like those of the past: no spa or double rooms, but lots of kindness, warmth and good food, what you need to rest after a day of walking.

  • 🎒 Masterclass discovering Nature

    Elisa will guide us to discover the local flora and fauna, also sharing with us some strategies to best enjoy a trekking experience in a wild environment.

Discover the program.

Day 1

The first day of our trekking in the Friulian Dolomites begins with the meeting at the car park, where we will discover the details of the trekking and the organization of the backpack. We will face a pleasant excursion to the Giaf Refuge. The evening will be dedicated to chatting around the bonfire in the company of the refugee Alessandro and Marco, creating a convivial and relaxing atmosphere.

Day 2

+ 1000m | - 1100m | 6-7h | 7 km

The time has finally come to start our adventure! The second day will take us through an extraordinary crossing of two high forks: Forcella del Cason and Forcella Monfalcon di Forni. We will cross a fascinating rocky amphitheater, where the red metal structure of the Marchi-Granzotto bivouac stands alone. The route, although challenging, will give us unique emotions, culminating in a steep descent on scree that will test our ability and resistance.

Day 3

+ 1100m | - 1100m | 6-7h | 7 km

The third day of our exciting journey will take us through the suggestive Forcella Montanaia. We will have the opportunity to admire the majestic Bell Tower of Val Montanaia, with the red Perugini bivouac at its feet, which appears like a flower at the foot of the large rock. We will then continue towards the Pordenone Refuge, where Ivan and Marica will warmly welcome us to spend the last night together, celebrating the wonders experienced in these days.

Day 4

+ 800m | - 600m | 5h00 | 10,3 km

On the fourth and last day of our adventurous itinerary, we will move from the woods and prairies towards the imposing spiers of the Cime Urtisiel. We will cross the suggestive Troi dai Sclops, immersing ourselves in breathtaking views. Our final destination will be the Giaf Refuge, where we will conclude the experience with a well-deserved and refreshing beer, celebrating the unforgettable moments spent together.

This trek is challenging, with significant elevation changes and difficult trails that include exposed and steep passages. It is suitable for experienced and well-trained hikers who do not suffer from vertigo and are ready to face demanding challenges.
