🤩 What are we doing?

Medium difficulty hike of about 1000 meters of altitude difference that leads to the Bivacco Gorizia, a bivouac with 9 beds surrounded by mighty Dolomite towers among which the Cima del Vallone and the Cima Alta di Riobianco stand out. The Rio Bianco shelter was built next to it, with 10 beds. An enchanted place where it is easy to have close encounters with the ibex that inhabit these places.

🏔 Curiosities of the place

We are in the Julian Alps, famous for their uncontaminated and wild nature. The entrance to trail 625 is on the road that connects Sella Nevea to Cave del Predil, near a bend (Rio del Lago).

🎯 Practical advice

Don't load yourself with water! Near the Brunner hut (1432 m) there is a fountain where you can refill your water.
