🤩 What are we doing?

Long excursion to be done in a counterclockwise direction that tackles the equipped path Ceria Merlone. A sure step and excellent training are essential given the difference in altitude, the slope and exposure of the path.
We are in the heart of the Julian Alps where the vast Montasio Plateau is delimited to the north by a long limestone ridge. Here on the Foronon del Buinz, we find the bivouac named after Luca Vuerich, a mountain guide who died at the age of 34 in an avalanche in 2010.
Via ferrata kit required: helmet, harness and lanyard, to conquer the bivouac. The bivouac is splendid and you can spend a night with millions of stars. Remember that the care and cleanliness of the bivouac also depends on you.
